We are a meat processing plant with over 40 years of experience. Position Objective Ensure plant operational continuity through planning, execution, and supervision of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of equipment and facilities, guaranteeing reliability of automated (PLC), electrical, and mechanical systems. Benefits: \- Year-end bonus \- Vacation days \- Vacation premium of 25 % \- Grocery vouchers Main Responsibilities * **Comprehensive Maintenance Management** * Design and implement the **annual preventive maintenance program** (electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration equipment). * Coordinate and supervise corrective and emergency interventions. * Maintain updated logs of activities and failures. * **Automation and Control** * Program, back up, and optimize routines in **programmable logic controllers (PLCs)**. * Diagnose and repair electrical or electronic faults in panels, sensors, and actuators. * Maintain digital backups and updated technical documentation for each system. * **Personnel Management and Operational Discipline** * Supervise the technical maintenance team, assigning tasks and verifying compliance. * Ensure **efficient use of working hours**, punctuality, and industrial safety standards. * Promote a culture of order, commitment, and continuous improvement within the area. * **Interdepartmental Coordination** * Address requests from Production, Quality, and Safety within agreed timeframes. * Actively participate in **working meetings or operational committees**. * Submit weekly reports on maintenance progress, incidents, and requirements to the Plant Director. * **Technical and Improvement Management** * Propose energy and technological efficiency improvements. * Manage external vendors (electrical services, calibrations, automation, spare parts). * Comply with safety, hygiene, and external audit regulations. Required Education * Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Specialization or diploma in Industrial Automation or PLC Control preferred. Technical Knowledge * Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or others). * Industrial electricity, frequency inverters, sensors, contactors. * Preventive and corrective maintenance. * Industrial refrigeration (preferred). * Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software. * Reading of electrical and mechanical drawings. * Electrical and mechanical safety standards. Skills and Competencies * Technical leadership and personnel supervision. * Analytical and diagnostic capability. * Organizational and operational discipline. * Ability to work under pressure and respond to contingencies. * Effective communication across all departments. * Service-oriented attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
