Production Supervisor

Description

Position Summary: Coordinate production activities to meet quality requirements and ensure personnel safety through established safety programs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate personnel to achieve daily objectives. 2. Ensure product safety and quality throughout the process. 3. Oversee compliance with HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards. Coordinate departmental activities to fulfill the daily production schedule according to company and consumer requirements, specifications, and quality standards, ensuring timely and proper delivery of the product. Ensure the safety of assigned personnel through organization-established safety programs. * Manage and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel to achieve daily objectives (roles, payroll incidents). * Review product inventory in the area. * Monitor productivity per workstation, verifying that areas are clean and orderly. * Verify warehouse deliveries of finished goods versus the production schedule. * Check parameters such as temperature, appearance, and materials used per the control plan. * Verify measuring equipment per the HACCP plan. * Supervise proper use of materials to prevent waste (rework, spoilage, water, etc.). * Complete and submit production reports and internal control records to the Production Manager and administrative staff upon request. * Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and used correctly. * Supervise equipment washing and sanitization per SOPs. * Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Implement procedures within the area of responsibility. * Ensure all workers understand and comply with company-established safety procedures and regulations. * Coordinate the daily 5-minute safety and GMP meeting. * Ensure process safety so that the product is delivered free from contamination. * Verify SQF system compliance at Critical Control Points (CCPs). * Follow up on implementation of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and 5S programs within the work area. * Participate in personnel selection for hiring in collaboration with Human Resources. Requirements Availability to rotate across 3 shifts Industrial Engineer Experience in large-scale manufacturing facilities People management experience for teams exceeding 40 individuals.
