The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team and a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leaders. This role drives financial performance, supports decision\-making, and ensures the plant meets its operational and financial targets. Unlike traditional roles, this position is highly focused on business partnering, as transactional accounting activities are handled by a Financial Solutions Center. **Job Requirements** **Key Responsibilities** * Partner with Plant Manager and leadership team to drive business performance * Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes * Analyze plant performance (costing, variances, margins) and provide actionable insights * Support investment decisions and capital projects (CAPEX, automation, etc.) * Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives * Manage standard costing and support inventory control * Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies **What your background should look like** **Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field * Proven experience as a Plant Controller in a manufacturing environment (must\-have) * Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis * Experience partnering with operations and influencing decision\-making * SAP and advanced Excel skills preferred * MBA or professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is a plus * Advanced English **Competencies** SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) **Job Locations:** **Posting City:** TECATE BC **Job Country:** Mexico **Travel Required:** Less than 10% **Requisition ID:** 152041 **Workplace Type:** Onsite **External Careers Page:** Finance \& Accounting
