Job Objective: Plan, direct, and optimize the company’s national and international logistics strategy, ensuring correct import and export of cranes and heavy machinery, compliance with customs regulations, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, and high standards of quality and operational safety. * Design and implement an integrated logistics, transportation, and distribution strategy for heavy machinery. * Manage **import and export** processes (maritime, land, and air) for cranes, spare parts, and specialized equipment. * Ensure compliance with local and international customs, tax, and regulatory requirements. * Coordinate operations with **customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, and specialized warehouses**. * Manage international trade documentation: customs entries, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, insurance policies, and special permits. * Optimize logistics costs, negotiate rates, and manage contracts with logistics providers. * Supervise inventories, warehouses, and control of high-value assets. * Implement logistics KPIs (On-Time In-Full, lead time, costs, inventory turnover, incidents). * Manage operational risks, cargo insurance, and security protocols for heavy machinery. * Lead and develop the logistics and international trade team. * Coordinate with Sales, Technical Service, Finance, and Headquarters in Germany. * Participate in internal and external audits related to logistics and international trade. **Job Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. **Experience** * Minimum **5 to 8 years** of experience in similar positions. * Proven experience in **import and export of heavy machinery, cranes, or industrial equipment**. * Experience working with international industrial companies, preferably European. * Experience managing high-volume, high-value operations. **Technical Knowledge** * International trade and customs legislation. * Tariff classification (HS Code), INCOTERMS. * International and multimodal logistics. * Specialized transport for oversized and heavy cargo. * Cargo insurance and risk management. * ERP systems (SAP preferred). * Advanced Excel and logistics cost analysis. **Languages** * **Advanced English (mandatory).**
