**Position Details** ----------------------- * **Country:** Mexico * **Scope of Position:** Global * **Business Area:** Finance * **Discipline:** Costs and Inventories * **Talent Level:** NT 5 \- Specialist Coordinator/Analyst/Assistant/Technician **Position Purpose** ------------------------ Administer and ensure that structures are correctly maintained in the SAP system, monitor plant inventories and scrap, and comply with corporate policies to support business profitability.**Decision-Making (Inherent to the Position)** ------------------------------------------- Release of cyclic counts Release of audited areas in the physical inventory **Areas of Responsibility (What is done / How it is done / Why it is done) \- Indicator** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Costs: Prepare and establish standard costs for production components (finished goods, purchased items, and assemblies), and review cost structures and prices via the SAP system, to generate cost variances. * Zero discrepancies vs. consumption structures Inventories: Monitor the physical inventory process at the plant and organize personnel for the physical count and reconciliation of actual vs. theoretical stock levels. * Inventory Results Structures: Analyze cost structures by comparing historical data to identify variances and ensure appropriate material consumption. * Variance Report Variances: Determine variances by comparing standard costs versus actual costs and generate explanations for contributed value. Invoice and credit variances, verify productivity projects, compare against customer commitments, and support decision-making. * Variance Report Scrap: Ensure that material declared as scrap is effectively recorded in the system, meeting budgeted quotas.
