Job Summary: Oversee overall store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational processes and an optimal work environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Foster a positive and professional work environment Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and undamaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as an example, and ensure employees provide customer advice and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable guidance and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, courtesy, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report during each reporting period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them, promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria cleaning, sales floor cleaning, parking lot cleaning—as well as reviewing daily cash counts for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for work schedule AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
