Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, leading the team to maintain an optimal work environment and customer service, and ensuring proper execution of operational processes. Foster a safe and professional work environment Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for the team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned store locations and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer advice and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts from the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cashier closings for direct reports, following AutoZone’s established procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisory experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
