Job Summary: Ensure the delivery and management of tools, spare parts, and equipment while maintaining BPM, Safety, and Food Safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Inventory control and material receipt. **Position Title** Storeroom Technician **Reports To** Warehouse Coordinator **Department** SCM **Location** Monterrey Plant (Escobedo) **Position Purpose** Ensure delivery and management services for tools, spare parts, and equipment to various departments at Hershey Monterrey Plant; maintain BPM and Safety standards across all processes performed. Comply with BPM standards to ensure product safety and quality. Know, comply with, and maintain applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements for this position. **Key Responsibilities Summary** Responsible for executing the following activities. Supply spare parts and consumable materials for the production plant’s operations to internal customers. Receipt of materials from suppliers. SAP system entry of supplied materials. Completion of Spare Parts Warehouse metrics. Completion of material and tool loan record forms. Print material identification tags (ID tags) and affix them to received materials. Inspect materials physically prior to storage to ensure their condition. Organize materials according to assigned locations. Receive materials under the maquila regime. Perform cyclic counts based on documents generated by SAP. Receive material suppliers in the indirect receipts area. Physically verify materials against invoices and system records, and execute Goods Receipt (GR) for received materials. Deliver materials to users of indirect receipts. Collect packages at receiving. Responsible for executing the following activities. Conduct daily inventory movement audits. Support Finance Department in book-to-physical audits. Identify and report damaged or expired materials in inventory. Responsible for executing the following activities. Perform general warehouse and peripheral sub-warehouse cleaning. Implement 5S in the warehouse’s operational/administrative area. **Skills and Knowledge** Forklift operation Microsoft Office proficiency Inventory control **Education** High school diploma preferred **Experience** 2 years in a similar position
