EY Canada is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join its growing Microsoft Power Platform team. Our Microsoft solutions group covers the full lifecycle—from strategic advisory and planning, through design and architecture, to implementation, training, and user adoption. Leveraging our extensive network of industry specialists across four service lines, EY is ideally positioned as a leader to help clients capitalize on data- and customer experience-driven digital transformation strategies.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
**Technical Leadership**
* Lead end-to-end Power Platform solution design (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, AI Builder), aligned with business objectives
* Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical architectures and specifications
* Define and enforce non-functional requirements—including performance, security, scalability, and compliance
* Serve as the technical authority on engagements, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices
* Conduct code reviews and design validations to ensure solution quality, maintainability, and performance
**Project Delivery**
* Oversee end-to-end Power Platform project delivery—from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders
* Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance standards—including in regulated environments
* Potential to work with a blended model combining local and offshore teams
**Business and Practice Development**
* Support business development and pre-sales activities throughout the pursuit cycle
* Contribute to solution definition and design, ensuring alignment with client needs and EY standards
* Participate in opportunity governance processes and internal approvals in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Support effort estimation, pricing, and client proposal preparation
**Client Relationship**
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating their business needs into technical solutions
* Facilitate technical workshops and demonstrations to showcase platform capabilities
* Provide strategic guidance on Power Platform–based digital transformation initiatives
**Team Management and Mentoring**
* Coach and mentor consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
* Participate in recruiting and onboarding of new technical talent
* Promote agile delivery practices and DevOps principles across teams
**Skills and Qualities to Succeed**
* Minimum 6–8 years of software development or technical consulting experience, including at least 3 years in Power Platform leadership roles
* Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600), or equivalent
* In-depth expertise in Power Platform components and integrations
* Experience with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD practices
* Strong understanding of data modeling, API integrations, and security frameworks
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; French is an asset for Quebec-based engagements

EY discloses salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency laws. Individual salaries within the stated salary bands are determined based on a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
* Toronto/Montreal: $115,000 to $160,000
