**Spanish language instruction for foreigners** **Position objective:** Provide students with the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical strategies necessary to teach Spanish as a foreign language. **Activities:** * Explore the most effective methodologies, approaches, and techniques for language teaching, both in face-to-face and virtual contexts. * Learn to design and adapt teaching materials, as well as plan activities that foster the development of the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) among students of diverse proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds, promoting dynamic, inclusive, and culturally relevant instruction. * Provide individualized follow-up for each student. **Requirements:** * A degree and professional license in foreign languages or a related field are mandatory. * English certification: TKT Band 3, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge Advanced, Cambridge First with grade A or B, TCC, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA ICELT, or ELeT. * A master’s degree — including degree and professional license — is desirable. * Three years of teaching experience. * Familiarity with systems and platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar is desirable. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organization * Ethics **Why work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 60 years of academic experience, social commitment, and professional vision.
