SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Provide support for in-store operational activities—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—to ensure achievement of operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Highlights: 1. Operational support in sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service. 2. Collaborate in achieving operational and commercial performance indicators. 3. Provide customer service and manage cash register transactions. Provide floor-level operational support in stores by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, adhering to applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to meet inventory count requirements; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales-floor cleaning activities, to ensure correct merchandise placement and overall store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—ensuring excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions—and handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in strict compliance with the store’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and transaction completion. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
