SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Support store operational activities, including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service, to ensure achievement of operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in meeting operational and commercial performance indicators 2. Arrange merchandise and execute planograms 3. Provide excellent service and handle cash register transactions Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing relevant operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks, in compliance with applicable arrangement guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Handle customer inquiries by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; also respond to customer phone calls for clarification regarding specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit cards, and process returns in accordance with the store’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
