




Position Summary: Provide in-store operational support in sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve the store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service. 2. Stock merchandise and execute planograms. 3. Serve customers and process cash register transactions. Provide floor-level operational support in stores by executing relevant operational processes for sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, ensuring proper compliance to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening/closing tasks as well as sales floor cleaning activities to ensure correct merchandise placement and overall store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing, thereby delivering exceptional service reflected in front-counter sales closures; handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in strict adherence to the store’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
