




Position Summary: Production responsibilities within a continuous improvement environment, ensuring process quality, safety, and efficiency; resolving problems and sharing knowledge. Key Highlights: 1. Actively participates in continuous improvement and problem resolution. 2. Collaborates in the training and professional development of new personnel. 3. Contributes to process safety, quality, and productivity. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Works on the process assigned by the Group Specialist or Process Engineer. Maintains and leaves the workplace clean and organized according to the 5S rules and aligns with the continuous improvement system. Follows rules defined in standardized work and work instructions. * Records hourly production data on the production board and completes process sheets as required. * Produces parts according to the production sequence and within the established time. Immediately reports any deviation from the established time to the Group Specialist/Supervisor. * Resolves problems that can be solved within standard time. Records the problem and solution via the Process Engineer or documents it in an SISA, A3, How-Fix, or EWO. * Immediately pulls the Help Chain when encountering deviations from standardized work or work instructions, reporting to the Process Specialist or Supervisor. * While the Help Chain responds, immediately begins working on the job task list. (The task list includes the time required to complete each task, operate, and work within the suggestion system.) If no further tasks remain on the list, notifies the Group Specialist of availability. * Participates in problem resolution as directed by the Process Specialist. * Attends the Start-Up Meeting (Toolbox Meeting) and other trainings assigned by the Group Specialist. Promptly reports unsafe conditions, incidents, and accidents across all EHS areas. * Proposes improvements to prevent or correct safety, quality, and productivity issues—such as cost savings, smoother processes, enhancements to safety or quality systems, etc.—formally through SISAs or by pulling the Help Chain to review directly with the Group Specialist or Process Engineer. * Timely reports any line operation anomalies using the Help Chain. * Maintains operational controls for activities under responsibility. * Applies established forms within assigned responsibilities. * Demonstrates theoretical and practical process knowledge per the Training Needs Matrix, assessments, and performance evaluations. * Complies with Human Resources policies, such as the Internal Regulations and Code of Conduct. * Shares technical knowledge, motivates, supports, and contributes to the professional growth of newly hired personnel. **POSITION PROFILE:** * **Experience:** * 6 months in metal-mechanical or automotive industries. * Availability to rotate shifts under a 4x2 – 12-hour schedule. * **Education:** Completed secondary school. **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:** * **Knowledge:** * Institutional orientation and training related to the determination of training needs for each certification associated with their process. * Safety, Quality, and Environmental training related to their process. * **Skills:** Rule-following ability; capable of working with time-based cycles. * **Training:** Knowledge of Howmet Aerospace’s Environmental Management System. Understanding of environmental aspects, impacts, and controls specific to the Machining process. Knowledge of Howmet Aerospace’s Emergency Response Plan. Knowledge of legal and other environmental requirements applicable to the Machining process. * **Required Language:** Spanish
