Job Summary: Responsible for safety, quality, order, and cleanliness, with the goal of performing efficient work and achieving company objectives. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with machines, tools, and plastic injection molds. 2. Ability to understand specifications and recommend process improvements. 3. Responsibility for preventive maintenance and preservation of molds. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * Completed high school or full technical degree. * Expertise in machines and tools (lathe, milling machine, grinder, metal heat treatment, band saw, etc.), as well as hand tools – minimum 3 years verifiable experience. * Knowledge of materials (understanding of steel heat treatment and its chemical composition). * Experience with plastic injection molds, mirror finishes, textures, cold and hot runner systems, flash correction, and fabrication of critical inserts – minimum 3 years verifiable experience. * Experience with TIG welding. * Experience with EDM grinding machines and wire EDM machines. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Responsible for safety, quality, order, and cleanliness within their area, as well as notifying their immediate supervisor upon detecting any abnormality. * Responsible for performing efficient work on time and as required across various assignments to achieve company goals: * Responsible for completing **preventive maintenance tasks on time, at or above 90%** (excluding molds under deviation per production request). * Responsible for maintaining molds with **a cavity utilization rate of 95%**. * Ability to verify that manufacturing plan specifications and requirements are correct. * Ability to memorize and reason through key company metrics, understand business goals, and identify required actions to achieve them in the tool room. * Communicate with design engineers and recommend additional changes to improve processes.
