Collaborate with traders and system analysts for forecast integration **Job Description** ------------------- This role will be understand and forecast electrical demand, working with large datasets to design, maintain, and improve models. * Design and maintain algorithms to estimate bus\-level load using state estimator data. * Review and analyze historical load patterns to identify behavioral trends and anomalies. * Develop bus\-level load forecasting systems leveraging identified historical patterns. * Build and maintain processes to incorporate new loads and adapt to changing load profiles. * Validate and benchmark model outputs against observed data and market results. * Work closely with data engineers and software developers to implement scalable, automated data pipelines. * Collaborate with traders and system analysts to integrate load forecasts into broader congestion and price forecasting frameworks**Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field * Strong programming experience in Python (pandas, polars, numpy or similar libraries) * Experience with time series analysis, machine learning, or forecasting models **Selection Process** --------------------- The selection process is carried out through Aira \- a recruitment platform designed to improve your application experience.
