This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing logistics strategies that align with organizational goals and customer requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to maintain seamless operations and timely delivery. By analyzing data and forecasting demand, the Logistics Planner will proactively address potential disruptions and improve overall supply chain performance. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence within the logistics function. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics planning, transportation management, or supply chain operations. * Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). * Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehousing, and distribution management. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent). * Experience with advanced production control and inventory management techniques. * Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to transportation and warehousing. * Demonstrated ability to lead cross\-functional projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Experience working in a fast\-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain detailed logistics plans that optimize transportation routes, warehouse utilization, and inventory levels. * Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods. * Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor and control logistics operations. * Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to reduce costs and enhance service levels. * Manage production control schedules to align manufacturing output with distribution capabilities and customer demand. * Oversee distribution management activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including procurement, production, and sales to synchronize supply chain activities. **Skills:** The required skills such as Logistics Management and Transportation Management Systems are applied daily to plan and execute efficient transportation routes and warehouse operations. Supply Chain Management expertise enables the candidate to forecast demand accurately and coordinate production control with distribution schedules.
