Position Summary: Support the administration of laboratory resources and assist faculty in laboratory practices and group supervision within a simulation environment. Key Highlights: 1. Key support in preparing laboratory practices for teachers and students. 2. Comprehensive management of laboratory equipment, instruments, and chemical substances. 3. Design of a preventive maintenance program for equipment. ***CLINICAL AREA LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (NURSING)*** **OBJECTIVE** Administer laboratory material resources, providing support to faculty for conducting laboratory practices and managing student groups. **EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS** ***\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Simulation in Nursing Education, Simulation Centers, Skills Laboratories using simulators) or related field.\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\**** **WORK EXPERIENCE** One year in a similar position. **SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE:** Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment and instruments; knowledge and application of procedures and forms specific to the assigned department. **REPORTS TO:** Academic Coordinator of various academic programs. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** 1\. Provide support services in preparing laboratory practices for teachers and students. 2\. Maintain records of laboratory practices and activities conducted. 3\. Provide, upon prior authorization, the necessary chemicals and utensils for corresponding laboratory practices. 4\. Perform maintenance on all glassware and equipment used in the laboratory after each practice session. 5\. Monitor proper use and functionality of laboratory materials and equipment. 6\. Store and safeguard laboratory chemicals according to their degree of hazard. 7\. Prepare requisitions required for laboratory operations. 8\. Suggest improvements to the department head that, in the technician’s judgment, enhance laboratory operations. 9\. Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, consistent with those listed above. 10\. Communicate the internal laboratory regulations for proper usage. 11\.
