Development using Python and .NET; basic PLC knowledge JOB TITLE: Information Technology Consultant DEPARTMENT: Information Technology GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: An information technology specialist who participates in the design and support of information extraction/writing processes to PLCs and devices connected to production equipment enabled for this purpose. JOB SPECIFICATION – FORMAL EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. REQUIRED SKILLS: Leadership, Problem Solving, Resilience – Adaptability to change. COMPETENCIES: Teamwork, Customer orientation, Results orientation, Project management, Operational efficiency. EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years. AGE: 21–45 years. GENDER: Not specified. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Design and support data extraction processes from PLCs to databases across various plant equipment according to planned projects. 2\. Design and support database and information transfer processes. 3\. Design and support processes utilizing PLC-derived information for reporting purposes. Intermediate knowledge of networking, SQL databases, Python development, .NET, and basic PLC knowledge. DESIRABLE (OPTIONAL): OPC Server, Canary Historian, and Ignition Reporting.
