




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commodity Classifier and Customs Appraiser for commodity classification, documentary verification, foreign trade advisory, and regulatory compliance. Teamwork and regulatory compliance Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in International Trade or related field. * Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Commodity Classifier and Customs Appraiser at a Customs Agency (mandatory). Main Responsibilities: * Classify commodities for various clients to manage their shipments. * Provide complete requirements to ensure correct payment for goods to clients. * Verify commodities against supporting documents and apply appropriate tariff classifications. * Review official documentation required for operations (verify information and/or arithmetic calculations, payment methods, exchange rates, fiscal address, among others). * Advise internal and external customers and suppliers on foreign trade matters, as required. * Apply official agreements, regulations, and restrictions affecting operations. * Work in accordance with established procedures.
