A Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, or Administration is desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience in tax and financial accounting is required to ensure solid accounting-tax judgment, and at least 3 years in similar roles within an accounting firm, ensuring correct tax and financial management for clients, regulatory compliance, and generation of reliable information for strategic decision-making. Strong knowledge of general accounting, advanced tax and financial accounting, current tax legislation, coordination of accounting closings, advanced Excel, and accounting systems such as ASPEL, CONTPAQi or similar is essential, along with a customer service orientation. Main responsibilities of the position: * Supervise, coordinate, and follow up on the work of consultants and accounting assistants. * Review accounting records, financial statements, and tax returns. * Ensure timely fulfillment of tax obligations before the SAT (Tax Administration Service). * Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings. * Design, implement, and supervise internal controls to ensure accounting information quality. * Provide technical support in strategic tax and financial decisions. * Prepare managerial reports, indicators, and metrics for the accounting department. * Identify areas for improvement in accounting and tax processes. * Promote and coordinate continuous technical training for the team. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00 hrs., although candidates must have flexible availability depending on operational needs. The salary range is $30,000 to $35,000 gross per month, depending on experience, plus statutory benefits from day one.
