Additionally, the Supply Modeler is responsible for regularly updating and evaluating supply network models to enable data-driven improvements and adaptability within a dynamic market environment. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze the current state of the supply network, understand business objectives, and design a strategy to model and optimize the supply chain. * Collaborate with stakeholders—including Concurrent Planners, manufacturing, inventory analysts, and distribution—to define updated business requirements and success criteria, reflecting them in strategy templates aligned with market conditions. * Translate business needs and strategy templates into mathematical or heuristic models. * Use modeling and simulation tools to update parameters—such as costs and penalties—in supply network models, aligning them as closely as possible with business objectives and testing the supply network model. * Use modeling and simulation tools to update parameters—such as costs and penalties—in supply network models, aligning them as closely as possible with business objectives and testing the supply network model. * Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure models remain effective and adapt to changing market conditions, providing feedback for Supply Modeling Governance meetings. * Emphasize the importance of incorporating risk management strategies and developing contingency plans within supply chain modeling. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related fields. * **More than 2 years of experience in supply planning:** Significant experience in supply planning processes, comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics, and ability to develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain performance. * **More than 1 year of experience in supply modeling:** Proficiency in modeling techniques, simulation tools, and data analysis methods to support strategic decision-making in supply chain planning and optimization. * **More than 2 years of experience in data analysis:** Skilled in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making processes in supply chain management. * Practical experience applying mathematical modeling techniques to optimize supply chain processes and support demand and supply planning decisions. * Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes to effectively analyze demand-supply interactions. * Proficiency in SAP and OMP. * Advanced English.
