KPL Firma is an accounting firm that integrates artificial intelligence into its processes to optimize tax, accounting, and financial operations. We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with strong technical expertise, sound accounting judgment, and the ambition to grow into positions of greater responsibility within the firm. **Responsibilities** * Accounting entries in CONTPAQi: income, expense, and accrual vouchers * Downloading and managing CFDI/XML via One Facture * Bank reconciliations * Monthly calculation and filing of VAT (IVA), Income Tax (ISR), DIOT, and electronic accounting * Handling of individuals (RESICO, business activity, and leasing) and legal entities * Annual tax returns and regularization of prior fiscal years * Preparation of accounting and financial reports supported by AI tools * Support in process automation and internal process improvement **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field (graduated or in progress) * Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting firm or tax department * Proficiency in CONTPAQi and SAT platforms * Intermediate or advanced Excel skills * Practical use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical ability * Personal computer and stable internet connection for hybrid/remote work **We Offer** * Hybrid work arrangement, with occasional office attendance required * Access to AI tools paid for by the firm * Ongoing training in accounting automation * Career growth path toward General Accountant * Innovation- and technology-oriented work environment **Employment Modality** * Professional services agreement, with opportunity to transition to payroll employment based on performance and growth within the firm *We seek proactive individuals, curious about technology, and eager to help build the future of accounting.* Salary: $10,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Remote work from home * Additional vacation days or paid leave Application Question(s): * Do you have experience using CONTPAQi for accounting entries?
