Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area Job Description and Activities Prepare fabric by laying it out and positioning patterns; cut materials using appropriate (mechanical) tools and following specifications; ensure quality and adherence to production deadlines; maintain order and cleanliness in the work area; and comply with safety regulations. Main Responsibilities * Material Preparation: * Fabric Spreading: Lay fabric in multiple layers to maximize material utilization while considering fabric quality and specifications. * Pattern Placement: Accurately position patterns on the spread fabric according to measurements and fabric grain direction. * Quality and Production Control: * Timeliness: Ensure pieces are cut within the timeframes specified in the production schedule. * Defect Identification: Inspect the fabric spread and cut pieces to detect defects or errors, and report them. * Resource Optimization: Minimize fabric waste and maximize material usage. · Requirements Education: Completed secondary education; technical textile high school diploma preferred. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in fabric cutting or similar roles. Knowledge: Types of fabrics, pattern marking and cutting techniques, use of cutting machines, consumption calculation, safety regulations. Skills: Attention to detail, manual dexterity, speed with accuracy, teamwork, organization. Working Conditions Schedule: Full-time (according to shift).
