After-sales Technician – Light-duty Electric Vehicles** **Job Purpose** Provide specialized post-sales technical support to ensure optimal performance of light-duty electric vehicles. Address faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, train customers, and guarantee an efficient, satisfaction-oriented service experience. **2. Key Responsibilities** * Diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults in light-duty electric vehicles. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. * Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers (fleets, companies, and operators). * Conduct functional tests on batteries, electric motors, controllers, and auxiliary systems. * Record findings, procedures, and implemented solutions in the system and generate reports. * Train users and operators on the use, care, and safety of electric vehicles. * Support the sales team during technical handovers and product demonstrations. * Ensure proper management of warranties, spare parts, and replacements. * Maintain diagnostic tools and equipment in optimal condition. * Follow up and close support cases, ensuring customer satisfaction. **3. Job Requirements — Education** * Technical diploma or incomplete degree in: * Electromechanics * Mechatronics * Automotive Electricity * Automotive Engineering or related field **Experience** * 1–3 years in similar roles: after-sales, technical service, or support for electric or hybrid vehicles. * Experience using automotive scan tools, electrical measurements with multimeters, and battery testing. * Prior experience with fleets or delivery vehicles is desirable. **4. Technical Knowledge** * Principles of electromobility. * High- and low-voltage systems. * Lithium-ion batteries (structure, common failures, charge cycles, maintenance). * Charging systems and connectors. * Electric motors and controllers. * CAN Bus systems and diagnostic software usage. * Safety protocols for working with electricity. * Technical documentation, manuals, and reporting. **5. Competencies and Skills** * Diagnostic and problem-solving ability. * Analytical thinking. * Clear communication with non-technical customers. * Organization and time management. * Customer service orientation and solution focus. * Fieldwork capability and autonomy. * Ability to work under pressure.
