Strong focus on hospital protocols and attention to detail **Surgical Instrument Technologist** **Location:** Mexico City (Central Area) **Work Mode:** On-site **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 hrs \| Saturdays, 9:00–13:00 hrs **Salary:** $12,000 to $14,000 MXN net monthly **Benefits:** Statutory benefits **About the Position** We are looking for a **Surgical Instrument Technologist** with experience in **operating room procedures and handling sterile surgical instruments**, who can provide support during specialized **spinal and cranial surgeries**, ensuring safety, control, and efficiency throughout each intervention. This position requires an operational, precise profile with strong adherence to hospital protocols and meticulous attention to detail. **Responsibilities** * Participate as **surgical instrument technologist and circulating technologist in surgical procedures** * Prepare and verify **sterile surgical instruments** * Perform **instrument and material counts** at each stage of surgery * Provide real-time support to the **surgeon and medical team** * Execute cleaning, storage, and control processes in the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) * Prepare **reports, referrals, and charge controls** * Attend both **scheduled and emergency surgeries** * Identify and report **medical equipment malfunctions** * Comply with **safety protocols and hospital regulations** **Key Operating Room Functions** **Instrument Technologist:** * Management of the **sterile field** * Precise delivery of instruments during surgery * Rigorous control and counting of surgical materials * Cleaning and storage of instruments **Circulating Technologist:** * Operational support to the instrument technologist * Control of **supplies, materials, and medical equipment** * Management of referrals and charges **Requirements** * Minimum **2 years’ experience in the operating room** * At least **1 year’s experience as a surgical instrument technologist** * Experience in **surgeries (preferably spinal and/or cranial)** * Knowledge of **sterilization, CSSD, and surgical instrument handling** * Flexible availability for work schedule * High level of **responsibility and operational precision** **Ideal Profile** * Organization and control in **high-pressure environments** * Proactivity and sense of urgency * Effective communication with the **medical team** * Focus on **patient safety** * Discipline and adherence to clinical procedures If you have experience as a **surgical instrument technologist** and wish to advance your career in specialized operating room procedures, apply through this channel.
