Respond to guest inquiries regarding wine origin, vintage, and style. Update and maintain wine lists and the MICROS system. Recommend wines that best complement the menu. Participate in wine tastings and cultivate relationships with suppliers. Order new wines and related products. Create and update wine lists. Develop and implement wine promotions and incentive programs. Verify and replenish cellar inventory, equipment, and glassware. Train and educate servers and bar staff. Conduct vintage and BIN number verification. Conduct staff wine tastings. Secure liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company assets. Support all colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving shared goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (22.5 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift.
