Personnel management and promotion of safety culture **Job Description** ------------------------- Coordinate and administer human and material resources within the assigned plant, applying established processes to meet quality and service operational standards. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Coordinate proper execution of the production plan to satisfy organizational and customer requirements. * Monitor, control, and ensure daily availability of production raw materials. * Administer and supervise unionized personnel assigned to the business unit. * Responsible for correct implementation of safety protocols and procedures reflecting Cemex’s policies and image within the business unit. * Supervise and ensure plant operational processes and delivery logistics with service centers and customers, in compliance with NPS standards. * Validate and request scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance for fixed and mobile equipment in the business unit. * Perform material batching according to requirements for concrete production. **Job Challenges** -------------------- * Promote initiatives focused on improving safety culture at plants. * Achieve correct implementation of applicable ISO and SGI procedures within the business unit. * Improve service indicators aligned with NPS objectives. * Support initiatives aimed at improving productivity indicators, such as staffing levels, vacations, personnel adjustments, equipment, and logistics. **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ Required knowledge: * Knowledge of production systems. * Inventory handling and control. * SAP (desirable) * Intermediate Office suite proficiency Critical competencies: * Customer focus * Results orientation * Decision making * Problem solving * Personnel management and negotiations * Conflict management **Relationships** -------------- Internal: * Plant Manager * Service Center * Quality Control Analyst * Safety Advisor * Junior ISO 9000 Advisor * Unionized Personnel * Operational Excellence Manager External: * Customers * Suppliers **Diversity and Inclusion at CEMEX** ----------------------------------- At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and do business.
