Position Summary: Controller and GEM Projects Manager will lead the design, execution, and monitoring of improvement projects in Government Banking, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to optimize processes. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams on key initiatives. **Location:** MEXICO CITY, Mexico City, MX **Category:** Government Banking **Requisition ID:** 121716 **Controller and GEM Projects Manager** **(Reforma, Mexico City)** At Banorte, we seek unique, strong, and extraordinary talent that drives the country’s transformation and innovation, becoming a powerful ally to grow robustly with Mexico. **Position Objective**: Design, execute, and comprehensively monitor improvement projects for the Government Banking and Infrastructure areas, ensuring alignment with the Directorate’s strategy. Lead automation, optimization, and standardization initiatives to eliminate manual dependencies and reprocessing, thereby improving operational and business efficiency, as well as the internal and external customer experience. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely achievement of objectives and deliverables. **Responsibilities**: * Document, plan, and manage improvement initiatives using work plans. * Identify, assess, and monitor operational and regulatory risks associated with projects. * Conduct formal progress and deliverable tracking. * Lead end-to-end continuous improvement projects. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams: business, IT, operations, compliance, development. * Ensure correct production process operation and achievement of qualitative and quantitative objectives. * Establish metrics, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, usage, and results of implemented tools and/or processes. * Prepare and present status reports for managed projects. * Develop communication strategies for new processes and tools targeting end users. **Requirements**: * Professional education: Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field. * Years of experience: 2 years in project management for improvement, automation, and digital transformation, development. * Areas of expertise: Process management, Project Management, Information Technologies. * Required knowledge: Power BI, process automation tools, collaborative tools (M365\), ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, project management, functional documentation, presentation design, information analysis and results orientation, effective communication, change management. * Languages: Intermediate English desirable * Willingness to travel: NA * Willingness to relocate: NA At Grupo Financiero Banorte, we foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and equity.
