General Use of laser and water jet equipment to cut various materials, including but not limited to fiberglass, steel, aluminum, urethane, rubber, and acrylics Tasks * Ability to operate laser, milling, and water jet cutting systems * Ability to use calibration tools to ensure proper machine and tool tolerances * Assembly of branded products from pre-cut materials * Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to precisely assemble custom tools * Maintain records for the equipment’s preventive maintenance program * Required to understand and use safety equipment appropriate to the department * Clean and maintain departmental equipment * Ability to organize assigned tasks and complete them independently or with assistance * Ability to complete and submit required documentation for personal time sheets in a timely manner * Cross-training and support for other production departments * Treat all Marbach information and customer information confidentially * Report issues or matters affecting the company’s ability to meet customer requirements to the supervisor * Departmental quality control * Read and understand work order documentation * Repair/maintain high-pressure hoses and piping on water jet equipment * While performing duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to sharp objects, fumes, airborne particles, and high noise levels * Work various shifts Physical Requirements * Capable of lifting and handling 23 kg of wood, metal parts, and tools (with assistance) * Capable of standing for extended periods and adapting to a dynamic work environment * Capable of performing repetitive motions and must possess fine finger dexterity Preferred Skills: * Basic computer literacy * Experience in electronics/mechanics * CNC experience * Use of engraving machines * Metalworking * Shift work
