Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Import Manager to lead foreign trade operations, with a focus on maritime imports from Asia and team management. Key Highlights: 1. Manage relationships with suppliers and customs agents **Import Manager:** A trading company is looking for an **Import Manager**, with proven experience leading foreign trade operations, specializing in **maritime imports from Asia**, and managing teams. **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **International Trade, International Business, or related field**. * **Must have held the position of Import Manager or Assistant Import Manager within the last 10 years.** * Solid experience in **import operations involving maritime traffic (minimum 90% of operations)**. * Experience in **imports originating from Asia**. * In-depth knowledge of **import processes, Incoterms, and Mexican customs regulations**. * Experience in **negotiating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents**. * Proficiency in **ERP systems and intermediate–advanced Excel**. * **Intermediate–advanced English** for communication with suppliers and logistics operators. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise **maritime import operations comprehensively**. * Manage relationships with **international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents**. * Track **shipments from origin through to cargo release at destination**. * Supervise **documentation, legal compliance, and customs clearance**. * Prevent **logistical delays, cost overruns, or incidents**. * Ensure **timely supply to internal departments**. * Prepare **operational reports, performance indicators (KPIs), and logistical cost control**. * Lead and develop the **foreign trade / import team**. **We Offer** * **Competitive salary commensurate with experience.** * **Statutory benefits.** * **Opportunity for professional development.** Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $35,000.00 – $38,000.00 per month Benefits: * Food vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
