### **Description and Requirements**

We are seeking an **Events & Conventions Coordinator**. **PURPOSE OR MISSION OF THE ROLE**: **Coordinate assigned events in accordance with guidelines and budget to ensure efficient execution aligned with business objectives and a high level of service.** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Plan, execute, and close out assigned events financially, in compliance with applicable local, regional, and global policies.
* Develop initial event proposals using creative concepts, collaborating with strategic teams, and ensuring high service standards at optimal cost.
* Monitor event budgets under coordination per established guidelines and ensure proper resource allocation.
* Maintain updated event folders to guarantee a useful and well-organized reference repository.
* Manage relationships with involved vendors, meeting defined SLAs and fulfilling event requirements.
* Promote and implement authorized digital tools for events, in alignment with Company-approved platforms.
* Conduct site inspections, managing schedules and ensuring optimal use of venue, time, and activities.
* Manage vendor payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Define and evaluate performance metrics, assessing customer satisfaction, budget adherence, on-time delivery of deliverables, etc.
* Create and manage contingency plans for potential risks or unforeseen events, ensuring event continuity.
**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
* Bachelor’s degree: Tourism, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
* Years of experience: 2–5 years.
* Language: Advanced English.
* Proficiency in a third language (desirable).
* Software/tool proficiency: Ariba, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, Canva.
* Availability for domestic and international travel, and valid personal identification documents (Visa and Passport).
