The Entertainment Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of all resort entertainment programs—including live music, daily activities, festive and seasonal events, as well as group activations. This role ensures a vibrant, authentic experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards, contributing to guest satisfaction and financial performance. Additionally, this position plays a key role in Food & Beverage (F\&B) activations and promotions, working cross-functionally to create experiences that increase guest consumption and engagement. **Key Responsibilities** **Entertainment Strategy and Programming** * Design and implement a comprehensive entertainment calendar featuring live music, cultural experiences, wellness activities, and family-friendly options. * Ensure offerings reflect local culture and align with the brand’s luxury standards. * Continuously innovate to differentiate the resort experience. **Live Music and Performances** * Select, contract, and supervise local and international musicians, DJs, and performers. * Maintain strong relationships with local talent, agencies, and vendors. * Guarantee quality, consistency, and appropriateness of all performances. **Festive and Seasonal Events** * Lead the planning and execution of events during key seasons (e.g., Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, national holidays). * Create memorable experiences that drive occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction. * Collaborate with F\&B, culinary, and marketing teams on themed experiences. **Daily Activities and Guest Experience** * Oversee daily activity operations, ensuring variety and quality (wellness, recreation, culture, family). * Promote high participation and visibility of activities. * Monitor guest feedback and adjust programming as needed. **Group and Event Entertainment** * Partner with Sales and Groups to design entertainment experiences for groups, incentives, and corporate events. * Tailor proposals according to each group’s profile and objectives. * Serve as the primary point of contact for entertainment requirements. **Food & Beverage (F\&B) Activations** * Collaborate with the F\&B team on developing activations (e.g., themed dinners, beachside events, mixology experiences). * Support strategies to increase covers, average check, and profitability. * Ensure seamless integration between entertainment and gastronomic experiences. **Financial Management and Budgeting** * Develop and manage the annual entertainment budget. * Negotiate contracts with vendors and talent to maximize value. * Track costs, revenues, and ROI of activities. **Local Market Knowledge** * Leverage a strong local network of contacts (artists, vendors, agencies). * Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape. **Leadership and Team Development** * Lead, train, and motivate the entertainment and activities team. * Ensure high service standards and professionalism. * Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in entertainment, events, or programming within luxury hospitality. * Extensive local network of contacts in Mexico. * Proven experience managing budgets and financial controls. * Experience collaborating with Food & Beverage teams. * Excellent organizational, negotiation, and project management skills. * Proficiency in English (additional languages are valued). * Flexibility to work non-standard hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
