**Job Profile: Nurse**
**Foundation for the Assistance of People with Intellectual Disabilities A.C.**
Job Objective
To provide comprehensive nursing care to persons with intellectual disabilities, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being through humanistic, safe, inclusive, and person-centered care.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide basic care and nursing services to service users.
* Monitor vital signs and overall health status.
* Administer medications according to medical prescriptions and maintain treatment records.
* Assist in emergency response and first aid.
* Keep nursing clinical files and records up to date.
* Identify relevant physical or behavioral changes and report them promptly.
* Supervise hygiene habits, nutrition, and general well-being.
* Collaborate in prevention campaigns, vaccination programs, and health promotion initiatives.
* Provide basic guidance to family members and caregivers regarding health care.
* Participate in interdisciplinary activities with physicians, psychologists, therapists, and support staff.
* Ensure dignified, respectful, and empathetic treatment of individuals receiving care.
* Monitor compliance with hygiene and safety measures within the institution.
Academic Requirements
* Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
* Professional degree and license (Mandatory requirement).
* Desirable training in first aid, behavioral management, or care for persons with disabilities.
Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience providing patient care.
* Experience in social assistance institutions, rehabilitation centers, special education, or community health is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills

Working Conditions
* Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
* Work location: Foundation for the Assistance of People with Intellectual Disabilities A.C., located in Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico
* Salary: $10,750 monthly, plus statutory benefits
* Reports to: Nursing Coordination
