Monitor equipment status, manage customs and invoicing processes, smooth shipment cycles and high service standards. We are expanding our business and looking for a **Customer Service Representative \- Import in Mexico City**. This position main responsibilities are coordinate cargo release and delivery by responding to customer inquiries, dispatching trucking instructions, and ensuring timely customs and terminal processes. Monitor equipment, invoice additional charges, and collaborate cross\-functionally to resolve issues and ensure smooth cargo movement. **OOCL Benefits (What we offer to you):** All full\-time employees enjoy these benefits among others: * Private health and life insurance. * Grocery coupons. * Savings fund. **Job Responsibilities:** * Respond to customer inquiries during cargo release process both via email and telephone. * Trucking Dispatch, coordinate with terminal, truck vendor instructions received by Consignee are performed according. * Communicate cross functionally to manage timely delivery of cargo and escalate to direct management as required. * Monitor aged/overdue equipment and follow up with internal/external parties as required. * Invoice any additional charges incurred during shipment cycle. * Report to terminal and port agent containers under carrier haulage. * Ensure customs submission is performed before cargo is discharged. **Qualifications** * 1 year of Customer Service Experience. * Attention to detail. * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. * Capable to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. **Preferred Skills** * Knowledge of International Cargo Container Movement. * Experience with Terminal and Rail Operations. * Critical Thinking and Problem\-Solving Skills. * Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes. **Be part of a team!** * Have a collaborative mindset as your daily interactions will include working with our customers and with many people in various departments within our organization in a team\-based environment. * Bring your experience and thrive on proactively suggesting opportunities to increase efficiencies to improve the current process. **All employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check** OOCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
