Collections Agent Collections Agent Objective: Manage assigned collections to reduce or eliminate overdue portfolio. Resolve account issues such as claims, restructurings, extensions, dations, etc., to bring accounts current. Negotiate and collect accrued or accruing late fees. Responsibilities:* Recover overdue payments from customers via telephone and email. Negotiate payment solutions for accounts with overdue balances when customers cannot pay immediately (e.g., extensions, restructurings, payment schedules, or date changes). * Resolve and follow up on claims, reconciliations, and negotiate payment solutions through extensions, restructurings, and dations. * For unreachable customers, ensure comprehensive searches across all existing systems, including credit bureau information. Update customer information in both the system’s header and logbook. * Make and receive inbound calls, delivering internal and external customer service, as well as supporting dealerships (DSI and CSI). * Collect late fees and apply them correctly in the relevant system, while also clearing favorable balances.
