General Using CNC milling equipment to cut/modify various types of steel, aluminum, or wood Responsibilities: * Ability to operate laser cutting, milling, and waterjet systems * Ability to use calibration tools to ensure proper machine & tolerance tool specifications * Assembly of brand-specific products from pre-cut materials * Ability to read drawings and CAD files to precisely assemble custom tools * Lifting and handling wood and metal parts, as well as tools * Capable of standing for extended periods and adapting to a dynamic work environment * Ability to perform repetitive motions and possessing high finger dexterity * Cleaning and maintaining departmental equipment * Maintaining records for the equipment’s preventive maintenance program * Required to understand and use department-specific safety equipment * Ability to organize assigned tasks and complete them independently or with assistance * Ability to complete and submit required documentation for personal time sheets in a timely manner * Cross-training and support for other production departments * Treat all Marbach and customer information confidentially * Report issues or matters affecting the company’s ability to meet customer requirements to the supervisor * Departmental quality control * Read and understand job order documentation * While performing duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to sharp objects, airborne fumes or particles, and high noise levels * Shift work Physical Requirements * Capable of lifting and handling 23 kg of wood, metal parts, and tools (with assistance) * Capable of standing for extended periods and adapting to a dynamic work environment * Ability to perform repetitive motions and possessing high finger dexterity Preferred Skills: * Basic computer knowledge * Experience in electronics/mechanics * CNC experience * Use of engraving machines * Metalworking * Shift work
