Your primary responsibilities as a DENTAL ASSISTANT will include: * Office Preparation: Set up the dental unit, sterile instrument trays, and necessary materials according to the type of treatment to be performed. * Cleaning and Disinfection: Disinfect and sterilize instruments, equipment, and office surfaces, following strict biosafety protocols to prevent infections. * Inventory Control: Monitor and manage dental supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders when necessary. * Basic Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, such as cleaning filters or checking connections. * During treatment, the dental assistant works side-by-side with the dentist, anticipating their needs and ensuring patient comfort: * Patient Reception and Positioning: Welcome the patient, assist them in comfortably seating in the dental chair, and briefly explain the procedure steps to reduce anxiety. * Direct Assistance to the Dentist: Pass instruments, mix dental materials (e.g., amalgams or resins), aspirate excess saliva and water using the high-volume evacuator, and hold various devices during treatment. * Taking and Processing Radiographs: Prepare the patient, position equipment, and take intraoral or extraoral radiographs, ensuring image quality and radiological protection. * Patient Monitoring: Remain attentive to patient comfort and any signs of discomfort or emergency. What We Are Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry or Stomatology (from the sixth semester onward). 1 year of experience in similar roles (including social service\*). Experience in a network of dental clinics (preferred). Proficiency with intraoral cameras and technological tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
