Job Summary: This position ensures that CEMEX units and operators are in optimal and safe conditions by performing verification, health monitoring, and industrial safety activities. Promote a culture of equity and development **Job Description** ------------------------- Ensure that our units and operators are in optimal condition to carry out their activities within a framework of safety and proactivity in addressing related challenges. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Perform Express Checklists on all Cemex units prior to loading * Verify Cemex credentials and valid driver's licenses for all Cemex operators prior to loading * Monitor trip logs and operator rest periods * Track, update, and deliver risk route information per trip * Administer breathalyzer tests * Administer anti-doping tests * Monitor operator health status through vital signs checks, clinical history, or any general illness * Assess operator conditions before trips by measuring vital signs * Maintain up-to-date records of results obtained for each audited factor and submit weekly and monthly reports **Job Challenges** -------------------- * Support efforts to reduce CEMEX's accident rate * Ensure truck/tractor-trailer operators drive safely for society, CEMEX personnel, suppliers, and customers, while safeguarding assets and reducing the accident rate * Persuade freight carriers and/or tractor-trailer operators to comply with safety standards * Manage crises arising from non-compliance with regulations * Promptly report incidents and findings related to safety and health **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ General: \- Paramedic preferred \- TUM * Minimum age: 25 years * Proficiency in Excel and database management * Intermediate first aid * Industrial safety Required Experience: * Training skills (desirable) * Implementation of safety and health programs Required Knowledge: * Breathalyzer application * Credentialing programs * Express Check List application * Trip log control * Route risk assessment * Anti-doping test and vital signs application **Relationships** -------------- Internal * Truck/Tractor-Trailer Operators * Service Advisor and Dispatch * CeDis and Terminal Managers External * Third-party customers and subsidiaries **Diversity and Inclusion at CEMEX** ----------------------------------- At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and conduct business.
