No experience required. **POSITION SUMMARY / POSITION SUMMARY** A General Helper is responsible for assisting in basic activities within manufacturing, painting, and packaging areas, supporting operational tasks as needed by the department. Their work contributes to meeting established safety, quality, and productivity standards through proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and correct application of the 5S methodology. **CORE FUNCTIONS / CORE FUNCTIONS** **Activities / Activities:** * Support operational activities within manufacturing, painting, and packaging areas according to production process requirements. * Handle materials, parts, and products at various stages of the process, ensuring correct identification, handling, and flow. * Collaborate in the preparation, assembly, processing, and conditioning of parts or products. * Comply with company-established quality, safety, and productivity standards. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area by applying the 5S methodology. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and follow industrial safety and hygiene guidelines. * Actively participate in achieving daily production targets and support other departments when required. * Meet daily production, quality, and safety targets. * Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, as needed by the department. **QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS** **Education and Experience / Education and Experience** * Basic education (Primary school) * No experience required **Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge / Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge** * Familiarity with basic tools **Travel / Travel.** Not required **COMPETENCIES / COMPETENCIES** * Awareness of job-related tasks and hazards * Productivity * Quality * Safety * Commitment * Punctuality and attendance * Teamwork **SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES / SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES** N/A **REQUIRED TRAININGS / REQUIRED TRAININGS** * General orientation * Industrial safety and hygiene * 5S methodology * Assembly, disassembly, and packaging procedures * Waste handling (if applicable) **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** **Physical Activities / Physical Activities.** * Ability to lift and handle loads up to 25 kilograms. * Full body mobility: ability to bend, twist, stretch, stand for extended periods, and move around the work area. * Moderate to high physical endurance suitable for repetitive tasks during work shifts. * Fine and gross motor coordination to operate precision machinery and hand tools. * Manual dexterity to handle materials, parts, and machine controls. **Visual Acuity / Visual Acuity** * Good visual acuity, with or without correction (glasses), to identify details, read screens, blueprints, and labels. * Depth perception and spatial awareness for appropriate handling of materials and equipment. * Functional hearing to receive verbal instructions and identify machine sounds or alarms. * Ability to distinguish colors and finishes when required for quality verification or material differentiation. **Working Conditions / Working Conditions** * Industrial environments with moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection is mandatory. * Exposure to mechanical vibrations generated by bending machinery. * Environments with temperature fluctuations (moderate heat or cold). * Indoor work in areas where oils, metal dust, or industrial waste may be present. * Continuous use of personal protective equipment (PPE): gloves, goggles, masks, steel-toed boots, among others. * Rotating or extended shifts, depending on production needs.
