Compliance with hygiene and food handling standards **Position Profile: Kitchen Assistant** **Position:** Kitchen Assistant **Department:** Operations / Kitchen **Reports to:** Kitchen Supervisor or Store Manager Position Objective Support food preparation, kitchen organization, and adherence to the restaurant’s hygiene and quality standards, ensuring fast, clean, and efficient service for customers. Main Responsibilities * Assist in **food preparation and portioning** according to restaurant recipes and procedures. * Keep the **workstation clean and organized**. * Wash, disinfect, and cut ingredients. * Assist in **dish production and plating**. * Maintain **inventory control of basic supplies** in the assigned area. * Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and tools. * Comply with **hygiene and food handling standards**. * Assist in **receiving and arranging merchandise**. * Collaborate with the team to maintain **service speed**. Requirements * Minimum education: Completed junior high school (preferred). * Experience: Six months in a kitchen or food preparation (desirable but not mandatory). * Availability to work flexible hours. * Ability to work under pressure. * Service-oriented attitude and teamwork skills.
