Description
**Purpose of the Position**
Ensure that products, processes, and materials comply with quality standards established by the company, customers, and applicable regulations through inspections, tests, and documentation that guarantee conformity at all production stages.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Perform in-process and finished product inspections according to drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
* Conduct physical, dimensional, and functional tests using measurement and testing equipment.
* Record and document inspection results in established forms or systems.
* Report non-conformities and support follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
* Verify compliance with quality procedures and customer requirements.
* Maintain assigned measurement equipment calibrated and in good working condition.
* Participate in internal and external quality audits.
* Support quality engineering in failure investigations or customer complaints.
* Comply with occupational safety and hygiene standards.
**Requirements**
* **Education:** Technical high school diploma or technical degree (e.g., mechanical, electronics, industrial, metrology, etc.).
* Advanced English
* **Experience:** 4 years in similar roles within manufacturing industry (preferred).
* **Knowledge:**
* Interpretation of drawings and geometric tolerances
* Use of measurement instruments (caliper, micrometer, comparator, basic CMM)
* Basic quality tools (*5 Whys, cause-effect diagram, SPC*)
* Microsoft Office suite
* **Competencies:** Attention to detail, responsibility, organization, effective communication, teamwork.
