We offer professional development opportunities, access to continuous training, and a competitive benefits package—all designed to support your personal and professional growth while you contribute to improving people’s lives. **Responsibilities:** * Perform activities related to physicochemical analysis of Critical Systems, Raw Materials, Bulk Product, Finished Product, Stability Samples, and New Products in Quality Control Laboratories, meeting established deadlines. This includes preparation of reagents and consumables required for analysis. * Participate in the implementation, verification, and validation of analytical methods, ensuring correct application of these methods. * Report Out\-of\-Specification results and observed laboratory trends, actively collaborating in subsequent investigations. Apply specific procedures to rule out or confirm analytical errors and take necessary actions to prevent recurrence. * Ensure integrity of data generated during analyses, both in paper and electronic formats. * Verify that instrument calibration and/or equipment qualification remain valid prior to use. * Use consumables and equipment efficiently and immediately report any detected failures or discrepancies. * Collaborate in the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and standards relevant to the Quality Control area, following established policies and procedures to ensure activities are reproducible and reliable. * Maintain and ensure the required training and qualification status to perform required analyses. **Essential Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Chemistry and Parasitology, Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent. * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year performing microbiological analyses. * **Systems:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, GQCLIMS, EQV – VEEVA (Deviations, Change Controls, Documentation). * **Equipment:** Experience operating HPLC, Gas Chromatograph, Empower Global. * **Instruments:** Knowledge of UV\-Vis, IR, and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry systems. * **Techniques:** Familiarity with Karl Fisher titration systems. * Teamwork. * Prior experience in the field. * Schedule flexibility (including shift rotation and weekend availability). * Learning agility. * Results orientation. * Resilience. **Desirable Requirements:** * **Language:** Intermediate English. * **Software:** Knowledge of MINITAB. * **Additional Training:** Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in a field related to chemistry or quality control. **Why AstraZeneca?** At AstraZeneca, when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity—no matter how small—can be the start of something big.
