Job Summary: The Account Specialist drives sales, identifies and generates opportunities for various customer types, working with Account Representatives to provide specialized knowledge and technical training. Provide technical support and deliver effective sales presentations **SUMMARY:** The Account Specialist drives sales, identifies and generates opportunities for various customer types. This position works collaboratively with Account Representatives within an assigned territory to provide specialized product knowledge. The Account Specialist delivers training and promotes Motion Industries’ products through technical presentations. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Increase revenue and profitability by generating new business and further developing existing accounts. * Regularly engage with customers in person to foster strong relationships and maintain customer satisfaction. * Understand complex customer requirements to prepare customized quotations. * Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met. * Ensure customer technical requirements are addressed. * Support on-site problem resolution related to customer concerns. * Work with local customers to identify, quote, design, and close sales of products and solutions. * Provide technical support when required. * Collaborate with and coordinate supplier resources to strengthen relationships and support sales. * Perform other assigned duties. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * A bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination, is required. * Industry and sales experience is required. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** * Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general industrial products. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Solid understanding of key sales principles and best business practices. * Ability to influence customers while maintaining healthy relationships. * Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision. * Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** * Travel availability is required. * Availability to respond to situations outside regular business hours—including evenings and weekends—may be required, depending on business needs. **LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:** * A valid driver’s license is required. * All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:** * No supervisory responsibility. **BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY:** * None. **COMPANY INFORMATION:** Motion Industries offers an excellent benefits package that includes major medical, dental, vacation, and paid holidays. **DISCLAIMER:** This job description illustrates the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job classification.
