Our client stands out for its focus on operational efficiency and strategic compliance. **About the role** We are seeking a **Materials Resources Manager** to join the team and report directly to the Administrative or General Management. The fundamental purpose of this position is to ensure efficient, transparent, and strategic management of the organization's material resources, guaranteeing timely availability of supplies, services, and equipment. This role is key to optimizing costs, negotiating with suppliers, and directly contributing to operational continuity and the achievement of organizational strategy. **Main Responsibilities** The role includes direct supervision of Purchasing, Warehouse, and General Services Coordinators, and involves the following key responsibilities: Purchasing and Supplier Management: * Define, implement, and oversee procurement policies for goods and services. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with strategic suppliers. * Ensure transparent bidding and purchasing processes. Warehouses and Inventory: * Supervise warehouse operations and inventory control. * Implement turnover indicators, optimal stock levels, and loss controls. * Guarantee updated and reliable inventory records. General Services and Maintenance: * Manage the contracting and oversight of general services. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities. Budget Management and Expense Control: * Prepare and monitor the department’s budget. * Implement controls focused on savings, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Team Management and Leadership: * Lead and develop the Materials Resources team. * Foster a culture of efficiency, internal service, and strict adherence to policies. **Requirements** Education and Experience * Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or related fields. * Required Experience: 7 to 10 years in purchasing, material resources, general services, or supply administration. * Minimum Managerial Experience: At least 3 years in managerial positions. * Specific Experience: Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, inventory control, and budget management. * Desired: Master's degree in Business Administration or specialization in Supply Chain/Purchasing. * Desired (Sector): Prior experience in agro-industrial, insurance, or financial companies. Technical Skills * Advanced knowledge in inventory, purchasing, and logistics management. * Proficiency with performance indicators (KPIs) and executive reporting. * Strong negotiation and contract analysis skills. * Advanced Excel skills and proven experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
