**ASSISTANT SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER**

**Position Objective:** We seek a candidate with an analytical and collaborative mindset, focused on supporting the updating, implementation, and monitoring of the Group’s sustainability strategy—aligned with Banorte’s business model and international best practices—to enhance ESG performance and meet the requirements and expectations of diverse stakeholders.
Each day you will face **new and interesting challenges** in this role, for which you will be responsible:
* Supporting the monitoring of the Group’s sustainability strategy, ensuring its alignment with materiality, stakeholders, and corporate strategy, in coordination with internal departments.
* Providing support in ESG information management and responding to ESG-related requests from various stakeholders—particularly investors, rating agencies, and global initiatives—ensuring timely collection, consistency, and quality of information.
* Supporting the analysis of ESG evaluations conducted by rating agencies (e.g., S&P, Fitch, MSCI, FTSE), as well as preparing inputs, presentations, and supporting materials for communication with responsible departments.
* Collaborating in identifying and tracking ESG-related opportunities and improvement actions, supporting coordination with internal teams to implement initiatives and monitor progress.
* Contributing to the development, updating, and monitoring of the ESG indicator matrix, ensuring accurate integration of information, alignment with reference frameworks, and support for the Group’s transparency and disclosure objectives.
* Collaborating in coordinating the preparation and publication of the Group’s Annual Report, including collecting departmental inputs, version control, interaction with external vendors, and tracking timelines and deliverables.
**Requirements:**
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development Engineering, Social Responsibility, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
* Years of experience: 1–2 years of professional experience.
* Areas of expertise: Corporate sustainability, ESG, corporate social responsibility, ESG assessment and reporting, sustainable finance, and/or climate change.
* Required knowledge: Proficiency in key sustainability indicators and experience supporting report preparation under standards such as GRI, SASB/ISSB, and other ESG reference frameworks.
* Languages: Advanced English.
