TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR (Last Mile) Position Objective Ensure proper planning, execution, and control of last-mile transportation operations, guaranteeing timely, efficient deliveries with high customer service standards, optimizing resources, and coordinating external providers. Key Responsibilities * Planning and Coordination o Design last-mile distribution routes considering time, cost, and coverage. o Coordinate with third-party transportation providers to ensure availability and compliance. * Operational Management o Supervise daily delivery and pickup execution. o Monitor vehicles in real time and resolve on-route incidents. o Ensure adherence to key performance indicators (OTIF, service level, costs). * Customer and Provider Relations o Serve as the primary contact point for customers regarding deliveries. o Negotiate and track service agreements with external carriers. * Administrative Control o Validate transportation documentation (manifests, proof of delivery, invoicing). o Report performance metrics and propose continuous improvements. * Innovation and Continuous Improvement * Implement technological tools for last-mile tracking (TMS, mobile apps). * Propose strategies for cost optimization and reduction of delivery times. Candidate Profile * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Experience: 2–4 years in transportation coordination, preferably in last-mile operations. Essential knowledge: 3PL logistics, last-mile deliveries, transportation management and monitoring systems. We Offer: Salary: $20,000 to $25,000 gross, commensurate with experience.
