Tool Maintenance **Job Req ID:** 134377 **Location:** Lagos de Moreno, MX, CP47410 **Position Objective** * Machining components based on design drawings from production orders for assembly into plastic injection molds, thermoforming, series production, prototypes, etc. **Main Responsibilities** Conventional Workshop Equipment * Operate conventional workshop equipment such as bench drills, CNC drills, milling machines, saws, and grinders. * Perform high-complexity mechanical and measurement adjustments on equipment required for optimal production performance. Lathe and EDM * Operate CNC machines, including wire-cut EDM and CNC lathes. * Perform high-complexity mechanical and measurement adjustments on EDM and lathe equipment required for optimal production performance. General * Interpretation of 2D and 3D drawings **Required Qualifications** * Vocational education: Technical High School Diploma * Education: Specialized technician with 5 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering / Machine Tools / CNC or related fields / Machining, Injection Molds / Dies. * Language: Basic English. * Experience: Knowledge of production processes or the automotive industry (technologies, systems, manufacturing processes), operation of conventional machine tools and equipment, repair of injection molds, fabrication and machining of parts, TIG, Electrical, and MIG welding, CNC operation. * Industry: Automotive * Technical Knowledge: IATF16949 standard, ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, Statistical tools (7 Quality Tools), Problem-solving tools (8D), Product Integrity, Risk Analysis, Customer-Specific Requirements, Knowledge of conventional machining equipment (milling machines, lathes, drills, saws, horizontal and vertical band saws, etc.). **Important Notes for Internal Posting Application** Deadline to submit application: 5 business days after posting.
