Job Summary: We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support design control, system development, and automation solutions in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership \& Leadership. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support design control activities, including documentation and review of deliverables. * Collaborate in the development of control systems, equipment, and machinery. * Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of automation solutions (including RPA where applicable). * Support the preparation of technical reports and related documentation. * Maintain and update diagrams and schematics for new and existing equipment. * Provide technical support for capital projects under supervision. * Support the development of graphical user interfaces for control and database configuration. * Contribute to the lessons-learned process in projects. * Participate in prototyping, testing, and system optimization activities. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical requirements (sensors, networks, computing, redundancy). * Support the development of technical specifications for machinery. * Provide support and documentation to field teams. * Comply with safety procedures at all times. * Promptly escalate failures or downtime for timely resolution. * Ensure compliance with internal processes and company machinery specifications. * Support the creation and updating of CAD drawings when required. * Participate in control system evaluations to improve equipment reliability. * Propose improvements and updates to existing systems (hardware and software). * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. * Support electrical designers with sketches, markups, and technical instructions. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** * Bachelor’s degree/Engineering in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Systems, Computer Science, or related field. * 2–3 years of experience in automation, control systems, or similar roles. * Basic/intermediate experience in manufacturing or engineering environments. **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS** * Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems. * Familiarity with industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc). * Knowledge of tools and software such as Ignition SCADA and RSLogix. * Basic knowledge of control system design. * Understanding of programmable logic and algorithm design. * Ability to document processes and generate technical reports. * Problem-solving orientation and commitment to continuous improvement. * Teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional areas. * Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic environments. * Basic–intermediate level of technical English.
