Job Description and Responsibilities
The Master Scheduler is responsible for streamlining sales and operations processes to maximize output efficiency, as well as leveraging extensive industry-based knowledge and experience to best achieve business goals. The Master Production Schedule (MPS) is also responsible for ensuring MRP stability, including requirements related to lead time and maintenance of the Material Master. Schedule, coordinate, and monitor the production plan throughout the entire production cycle in alignment with customer contracts. Manage inventory (WIP and finished goods) through planning parameters and strategies. Plan, execute, and monitor on-time delivery to customers. Interface with other departments to resolve sales order exceptions/issues. Manage demand stability through established controls and exception handling to maintain ERP system integrity (e.g., requests within lead time, scrap, rework, PSA cleanup). Monitor and update total replenishment lead time and material master data for assigned products (e.g., lot size, in-house processing time, etc).
Experience and Requirements
Education: Professional degree in Industrial Engineering or a programming-related field, preferably. Certifications: APICS (desirable). Experience: Prior experience in Master Scheduling and Planning is desirable. Languages: Advanced English proficiency.
